Ba Wei Dai Xia Fang

Gonorrhea, Syphilis. Ba Wei Dai Xia Fang (Tang-Kuei Eight Herb Formula, Dang Gui Eight Herb Formula) literally translates as the “Eight Ingredient Formula for Vaginal Discharge”. It is a Traditional Chinese Formula used to remove damp heat from the lower warmer. This is particularly useful when there are symptoms of damp heat with an underlying deficiency of blood in Chinese diagnostic terms. Symptoms typically include vaginal discharge (white, red, or yellow), vaginal itching, vaginal inflammation from any cause, possibly with anemia, constipation, low back pain, abdominal soreness. May be combined with other broader formulas for gonorrhea or syphilis. With the right underlying factors this formula may be used with men as well.*
