Gui Zhi Tang Wan



Uses: Cold and Flu Treatment and Prevention, Recovery From Serious Illness.  Gui Zhi Tang Wan, literally “Cinnamon Twig Decoction” is a classic formula for the common cold and flu, particularly in cases with fever and chills. Useful for nasal congestion, strong aversion to wind, dry heaves. Potential uses with the right underlying diagnosis in Chinese Medicine terms for allergy related symptoms, a variety of joint and muscle pain issues that are worse in cold conditions. Also used in certain cases of itchy dry skin, particularly those worsened by exposure to cold and that are dry, not red.*

Recommended Dosage: Take 5 to 7 pills or tablets 2 to 3 times a day for adults at the beginning of a cold or flu. At full dose, one bottle renders a 10-day supply. Adjust dosage for children according to weight.

Caution: Generally you should discontinue all other herbal formulas when you have a cold/flu, particularly tonics.  Avoid this formula if your body feels very warm, use caution in warm weather.(200 tablets)
