Wen Dan Wan
Uses: Insomnia, Palpitations, Anxiety, Gnawing Hunger. Wen Dan Wan (Wen Dan Tang Wan, Rising Courage Teapills), literally “warm the gallbladder pills”, is a traditional formula designed to clear heat in the liver/gallbladder, clear phlegm, and harmonize the gallbladder and stomach. It is also often used for the condition known as phlegm misting the mind which in western terms includes certain variations of stronger psychiatric issues. Symptoms may include dizziness, insomnia, palpitations, anxiety, irritability, panic attacks, abnormal hunger, nausea and/or vomiting and bitter taste in the mouth. This formula may be used with vertigo, stroke, insomnia, palpitations, Meniere’s syndrome, and may be useful for psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar, and neurosis.*
With proper use, expect results within 3 to 5 weeks of daily use. For best results avoid oily and/or spicy foods and alcohol.
