Yue Ju Wan



Uses: Digestive Issues, Depression, Plum Pit Qi. Yue Ju Wan or the “Escape Restraint Pill” is one of the chief formulas in Chinese Medicine for qi stagnation. This formula is potentially useful for a range of digestive issues including gastritis, reflux, gallstones and/or gallbladder inflammation along with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting when the underlying contributing factor is stagnation in Chinese Medicine terms. A range of psychiatric issues are also potentially aided by this formula including depression, schizophrenia, panic disorder if the underlying factors are appropriate for this formula. It is the principle formula for what we call plum pit qi in Chinese Medicine which is a mild to moderate stifling sensation in the chest/throat area that has no other physical causes.*

Recommended Dosage: Take 2 capsules 3 times per day, each bottle will last approximately 19 days (100 capsules).

Caution: Other formulas are better options when the underlying pattern is deficiency rather than stagnation.

Ingredients: Nut Grass Rhizome (Xiang Fu), Szechuan Lovage Root (Chuan Xiong), Cape Jasmine Fruit, Gardenia (Zhi Zi), Atractylodes (Cang Zhu), Medicated Leaven (Shen Qu).
