Gan Mao Ling
Uses: Cold, Flu, Cough, Congestion. Gan Mao Ling, literally “common cold effective remedy” in Chinese, is a Chinese herbal medicine formulated for common cold and flu. It is traditionally used to help relieve symptoms of common cold and flu such as sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, cough, and headache. It is also used to treat acute upper respiratory tract infections, mild bronchitis, tracheitis, and tinsillitis.*
Recommended Dosage: Take 3 to 6 tablets 3 times a day. For best results begin immediately upon first signs/symptoms.
Caution: Generally you should discontinue all other herbal formulas when you have a cold/flu, particularly tonics. Use with caution in hemorrhagic disorders or with patients on anti-coagulant therapy. Contraindicated if strong chills are present.
